Hello adewpearl, Brooke, A wonderful poem and thought-provoking sentiment:
if there were only just we two,
for all I'll ever need is you.
(I think if we're going to spend the rest of our life with just One other person, it should be someone that we love unconditionally, and a person with whom we have a long and "honest" history with because conversation might get boring and "pretending" might become overwhelming.
As always, silky rhyming and format, and a sentiment worth pondering. Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer

No, she's usually on the other end of the camera.
A lovely triolet which would stand as a fine love poem if not for the mother-son artwork that accompanies it, and perhaps the slightly childlike tone in line 6.
Good luck.

Thank you so much, Steve - Andy is also good with a camera, but Miranda is the one obsessed with taking photos. LOL :-) Brooke

A beautiful Tri Brookers, embracing a Mother's love and her allegiance to the bond with her child and how love surpasses absolutely everything when it comes to flesh and blood.
I melted on "for all I'll ever need is you". Please enjoy a sixer. This my friend, was Triolet gold and that 1,4,7 repeat lent itself as the perfect refrain. So very well done mate. You're always a special treat to read.

This lovely Triolet takes a wonderful thought and gently enfolds it into flowing thoughts of a loving relationship. The form is perfect to ripple the thought of togetherness through the verse in a cascade of feelings. Very nice. Good luch in the contest.

This is a very happy picture and a loving poem, Brooke, and it looks like it was a spectacular day. I thought the triolet was a good choice for this particular poem. Best wishes for the competition, Giddy

In little Sawyers eyes, he and mommy are the only two, plus daddy I guess. :-) I loved the sentiment in the Triolet you have written. It should be a great contender for the contest. Good luck Brooke,
Carolyn

Ah - nothing more loving that having that special person in your life. Then everything else just seems to have balance - even if all you have is each other.

I feel the sunshine and the love involved. You feel special, that come from the heart. People feel that, well I do:-). You two look so beautiful and happy together. And thats what life and love is about. Hold on to that smiles, even when your tested. Teach your seed the strength shes going to need. Take it easy. Much blessing.:-)

This would be a wonderful poem for any mother to say to her child. The picture you chose to go along with it is perfect. These two look so happy here.
