I enjoyed your bit-o-whimsy in this write. But, I also appreciate the lesson portrayed in this verse. "...The best laid plans of mice and men..." Lol. Everyone who walk this planet, must learn to deal with this simple fact of life.

Love it - love it! I so recognise the situation. I am a great plan maker, but mostly these have to be set aside for unexpected interruptions, most of which are better anyway. I like the rhythm of your work and indeed the whimsy.
