Debbie, this is an excellent post. All of us who write feel that we have a good reason, but you have gone a bit further and explained yours - and done it well. It is great, but not surprising, to hear that writing has benefitted you. Thank goodness we can benefit without becoming rich and famous. Best of luck to you. Be well.

First I would like to congratulate you on not just one published book, but two. A very impressive feat. And the other I loved the poem. It went straight to the gut and heart and I could feel the genuineness of it. Great piece.

People don't know what it feels like, being disabled. It is definitely a struggle. The author has given the readers, the opportunity to walk a mile in their shoe. How educative this piece is. I am really impressed. We are grateful to have you, and we'll never stop supporting each other. great job to the author.
We definitely have the ability to adapt to change. I hope I can get a copy when it comes out.

The author is writing about the values of writing. I would say that it is indeed therapeutic and equally important, a very valuable tool for self-expression. Expressing oneself through writing is sharing - your thoughts, feelings emotions and aspiration with others. And through feedback, we learn to communicate, learn and share with others.

I think it was in one of your writings where in my comments I wrote something like "some people have overcome their disabilities and came out better versions of their original selves."

This is you and I'm not ashamed to admit I am full of envy. Writing-wise, I sometimes feel "disabled." As a consolation, I am glad to be your fan. Needless to say, I am inspired by you.
