I love this and even more so with the back story behind the pictures! That's a good sign to be that overjoyed by a word!!n How uplifting these words are. I hope someone gets a little joy out of my smile, it will be on display all day! mikey

Be it the end of the world or the sun don't shine anymore, your smile can drive away the blues and moaning.
If the sand reclaim the sea as droughts deplete the land, here is hope and happiness in your smile.
If tomorrow fails to wake up for me, then the smile will forever remain close to the heart as the souls go to heaven, smiles.
All it takes is a smile to give gladness and joy to our hearts, smiles.
Great write and very well expressed a smile.
Cheerio, hugs, Ritchie. :))

I can see why the joy of a wonderful array of smiles like Sawyer's could make up for a multitude of natural disasters of land, sea and sky. And to think that the smiles can be won by hearing that interesting word! (Your daughter is an excellent photographer. Does she do this professionally, or is she just a gifted amateur?] Love, Jeanie

Hi Brooke,

aww. Sawyer is getting cuter by the day! And what a heart-warming smile!
I can see why you won't have any regrets, should all life on Earth come to a standstill.

Thanks for sharing. And God bless you and your wonderful family!

Regards,
Namratha

This work has reached the exceptional level

your poetic artistry is always
on stage, but somehow, this
piece of magic sings its way
down the screen, caressing the
heart and soul in a softness
that gently wraps itself around
me as I pause to read this piece
of magic.
Well done

Frightful thoughts, but as you have stated if you have that special person's smile it won't matter in the end. Thought this was good despite the dire look for the world's future, which I'm sure is just around the corner.

I believe as adults, we 'teach by example' to our children and grandchildren. "Children become their parents" or whom ever they spend the most time. Part of what you saw "within your smile", I'm sure came from you. Best wishes, Brooke.

The word supercalifr....oh my. After saying that word I need some water to wash it down or something.

Fun poem and poignant just the same.

Love your angle on poetry.

It's no wonder you're popular!

A perfect Ten. Those last words are so perfectly and sincerely written, that it made me drop a tear.I am always in awe of the innate talent you have been given, my friend.

Thinking in destruction never got us anywhere, worrying about the future and what tomorrow holds. I liked this fun poem. Great job.
