just stopping by to say how much I love this. This is something I'd expect to see in the Tao D'Ching, a famous book of Japanese wisdom. The final line gives it a mind-boggling punch.
Be well,
Katherine

This is beautifully written, Brooke, with a thoughtful pace that suits the form and reminded me of pulsing thoughts, washing back and forth in my mind. Quiet peaceful, and a little soothing - lovely :-)

A great ABC poem, Brooke, that carries the thought through the lines without realization of the letters used. Very nice alliteration, and love the message of looking up to see. Best wishes in the contest.

This is a great mix of beauty and mystery wrapped together in rich language. I especially like "luna luminates the sky, mariposa flutters by". Inspiring message about looking up to find new things. Great job. :) Alanna

Love the first two lines! Great rhyme scheme and the words bring up perfectly formed imagery. Indeed - we dont know what will be coming unless we look.

A lovely little creation. I love the depth of thought expressed in the final lines.
We have to lift up our eyes to SEE.
Best wishes in the contest, prolific lady.

Beautiful, beautiful ABC poem. It left me with a wide smile in my face and in my mind. Such a wonderful take from a child point of view.

Being from a Latin based country, luna is the same word in my homeland language and I find it more expressive than the English word.
There is so much mystery in their dreams and hopes that it will take us a lifetime just to guess what is going up there, in those pretty heads...
