Hello Brooke :)
This poem is full of joy and happiness. The words are simple yet catchy to the point that i like to learn to rhythm. :) This reminds me the greatest moment to spend time the person you treasure. It makes life a better.

Oh, Sawyer's look is so precious & quite a compliment for your rhyming poem, You'll Never Find. A very pleasant read & really like the second line of the first stanza.

Caressa, thank you so much. I just read your grandchild was born a little early. Congratulations on this wonderful addition to your family, and I will keep baby and mom in my prayers :-) Brooke

Thanks so much Brooke, prayers are always so helpful...I'm calling Baby Breyden, a little miracle baby, & think his 39 yr old mom will be coming home, along with him soon. My son is 37, an Afghan vet that had a lot of medical problems, though better...This is his very first newborn & loves being a father. ..They married last year & with her 2 children I now have a total of 6 grandchildren...Greg's twin brother, Jon & his wife have 2 daughters, Madeline 11 & Olivia 1...My recently divorced daughter, Wendy & oldest lives in Houston, Texas & she has a 17 yr old son named Chance......C.

I like the red writing this clearly states how important things in life and lives are. When we combine the two our heart just melt there is nothing more meaningful as a child's smile. Excellent poetry! And lovely picture's

Hi Brooke,
I loved this simple message. It seems our perception of happiness has become quite blurred, as of late. We now seem to operate under the idea that contentment is achieved through possessions, when in truth, peace lies within each of our souls...and all for free! Wonderful thought and delivery, with an easy meter that made for an enjoyable read. Well done, and best wishes, Bill

As a new comer to the world of fanstory I almost didn't write this review for such a high ranking member but I loved reading this and did it with a smile on my face
I sometimes drift off when reading lengthy or abstract verses
so this was right up my street (as they say in England)
short but perfectly conveyed

There's nothing like a little red frosting all over a toddler's face to bring on a smile from others. It is so true that a smile, especially a grandchild's smile, is a much greater gift than all the things you mention in your delightful Rispetto. Only five more weeks now until I get to have a darling little grandson like Sawyer. You just know I'll be using him as the subject of many poems. I hope they'll be as enjoyable as yours always are with Sawyer.
My best to you, Brooke.

Connie, thank you so much :-) Five weeks - the anticipation really kicks in at that point - I can't wait to be reading your grandson poems. Do you know his name yet? Brooke

Sawyer is lovable as ever. I truly agree with you that the best things in life are free... and they are not things... they are the people we loved and cared for... our children, our husband, our friends... our family.
God bless you, Brooke! Been so busy... I stopped by to relax and do the things I love - thanks for sharing your thoughts for free. c", Mae
