Flawlessly excellent!!! Consistantly LOL funny throughout. Also educational for new members about practical aspects of various certificates, etc.

Michael this is perfectly hilarious. It's quite clear you are deeply and profoundly lost in the throes of a full blown addiction to FanStory. Hopefully "your wife" doesn't continue to post using your name or soon you shall find yourself as a split personality.

I love your sense of humour

Gloria

Split personality. Twice the writing, twice the posting. Multiples! Yeah, that's the tickey. Sybil. no....Mybil. That's it. Glad you liked it. Fun to write. It kills me though that it gets a better response than what I spend hours slaving over. Hahaha. Irony. mikey

Mikey, I loved this!!! I think my husband could echo this very write. LOL The humor is splendid and most of the complaints are universal spousal sentiments. GREAT JOB! Hats off to Mrs. Mikey. :0 GracieAnn

Hahahahahaha!!! Dear Mrs. Mikey - Believe it or not, the day is coming when Mikey and his routine at FanStory will settle down.

The problem is, it might be because he found out that everything has piled up until he now has a gazillion things to edit and start submitting to publishers. So he will STILL be at the computer, he just will now need your money for postage, postcards, paper and ink.

Unless, of course, he forgoes the traditional route entirely (but if he is not merely a FanStory junkie, he won't do that. You see there is such a thing as online publishing now too, but that alone hardly pays for one posting at FanStory, which he will miss and have to return to at regular intervals).

No, he will have to buy paper, ink and postage. Oh, did I forget envelopes? One other thing - his out-of-pocket costs at FanStory will increase because his time on the computer will now be spent pursuing lists of publishers and online publishers so he won't be able to review as much as he did when he was first enamoured. That is the process by which he is able to post his work and still have enough real money left to pay the service provider for supplying the internet (which is necessary for him to access FanStory.)

So the upshot is, unless he strikes it rich as a big time author and outsells Stephen King, you will not only be a computer widow, you will be a broke computer widow, but hey, look at it this way - has he started his first book yet? No? Well at least you can still see him. He's not a lot of company, but then he's not attending all those book-signings either. :) (Now there's a whole OTHER story...)

Mikey - FANSTORY IS NOT THE REAL WORLD> LOOK AT YOUR WIFE. SHE NEEDS YOU. SHE IS real. Honest. I think...

What's that I hear? Yeah, yeah, I'm coming. Just one more review to do, honestly. (I gotta go, Mikey. Get offa the computer, kay?)

She's real....Hmmm. I could write a story about that. It has a good human interest element. A poor suffering wife with an insane husband living in a fantasy world....no...a fanstory world and she rescues him and takes him to Dennys. Okay. -wink- I'll cut back, mikey

OOOOOh, I love Denny's. We don't have them in Canada. :) (Smart as-. lol)

This is hysterical and although I do not have a spouse, boyfriend or a live-in friend to demand I stay off the computer, or complain about not enough attention, I can relate to all of this. This is so funny and very, very clever. You made me laugh out loud several times.

Glad you liked it. Funny but, of course, it isn't very far from the truth. It's 3:30am right now. Hahaha. Thank you very much, mikey

Your wife did an incredible job of expressing her feelings into words. I think more than a few spouses could probably relate to some of the things that she wrote. I was very impress how she was able to give life to her thoughts about your fanstory involvement. Some things made me laugh out loud as I read them, other made me do some eternal checking on my own habits. Great job by the misses my friend!

I have the feeling that most partners agree with this. I am a female but also addicted to Fanstory and computer games. My husband has to force me to watch some TV with him.

Damn, this is funny stuff. I have tried to dial down my Fanstory time partially at my wife's urging. Enjambing the hell out of her, an alliterative surprise- just try not to develop a foot fetish- don't know if that would get her meter purring, and please, don't wear a dipthong.

Hahaha. It would be a dipthong is I was in it. Yeah, my wife's real letter wouldn't be as amusing! I just got "Foot fetish" after about three hours!!!

Lol. It's all true. I am addicted too. Love your reference to Walmart not taking Fanstory money, the member cent pump sounding a little perverted, Lol. And in the bedroom...LMAO. I try not to post on a Friday unless I forgot like this morning. Ugh. Loved your letter.
Blessings,
Maria C.

Mrs. Mikey,
Thank you for posting your concerns. I read with interest. Allow me to tell you the truth and nothing but the truth. I am sorry to disappoint you, though. Of late my wife has been complaining because I wake up at 3 A.M. to review and write. I am glad to learn that I am not the only one who has made the wife complain. If you have to find a cure, it should be for all the Fanstorians. Writing and reviewing becomes part of you when you get used to it. Eating food becomes a secondary thing in life.
In conclusion, I thank you for being a caring wife. Your support is important and will help him to help the rest of us to do the best we can in the world of writing. May God richly bless you. Thank you.

Thank you for your kind words and support. There are many, many worse things in the world!! I will consider it the writing diet. Hahaha. Maybe I can market it. Once again I thank you kindly. Blessings to you.
