Your words and his pictures have allowed FanStorians to watch him grow up. All of the writings are special to me because of the nanny care I provide for three children under five. The latest one, which will be three months old on January 20th, is managing a half-smile -- with dimples. Life's treasures!

Brooke, I really like this. It is a fun poem, but
we do enjoy those smiles; especially of our grandchildren.
This rhymes and flows really well.

Nice poem, Adewpearl! You just pointed out a reality, which is simple but never fades and makes the thorns grow to flowers. Nevertheless, nothing is more beautiful than watching a smiling innocent baby. You forget all your sufferings. Thanks for your grand idea!

I just think this is delightful. The rhyming is perfect, and moves the poem along lyrically. I'm saving my poetry 6's for the Poem of the Month competition, but I think this is at least a 5 1/2. Can't think of any suggestions, really. It's a joy and a delight.

LOL What happens is he melts a lot of hearts. Made smile and giggle and smiggle some more. Easy to read and follow. I know he just lights up a room. Hope you are having a great day.

Man, you have a beautiful grand child. And...photogenic. what a joyful face, and one whose every action will be immortalized by his very talented grandma.
On behalf of all of the grandmas out here...keep going. You make us smile, you make us laugh. Always a pleasure.

The half smile of Sawyer, in this photo shows in his eyes. The half smile always makes one wonder what up in their minds, what their planning. LOL I so loved this Brooke, have another half today and smile big. LOL Blessings

I think this little one's half smile is priceless. There is a very old-soul look about him... he finds the world amusing. I'll just bet he will show himself to be quite intelligent as he gets older.
Now on the the poem, reads a bit like a limerick? Like the rhythm.
Cute, amusing, well-worded, with just the right touch of humor balanced with a message. Yes... setting our smiles free on the world can make all the difference, both to ourselves and to those around us.
Love your poetry.
