Brooke, these are appealing and light-hearted quatrains. Who would not love receiving these words on a Valentine? (I see Sawyer's part of the duet with Nora is relegated to the higher notes. That was a wise move on someone's part.) Love, Jeanie

Brooke, so sorry I am out of sixes. If I had to choose a rhyme scheme it would probably be the 8/7 8/7 tempo. The philosophy engrained in your poem is inspiring.

Another happy read Brooke.
What the hey is going on here. I can't find people or their works. I am stuck on the front page unless I get a message. I can't find any way to send a private message either. Can you advise me?

Rebecca, thank you so very much :-) I have no idea what is going on with you and the site. I've had times with glitches, but right now everything is working just fine for me in accessing all parts of the site. Sorry I can't be of any help.

Ah well...maybe it is just me looking past some direction.
About that poem I liked the way you brought in two. That is nothing I've seen before. 14 overnight. So yucky for creatures and folks who are outdoors.

What a great way to say "without you I would be just one hand clapping, I need your hand to complete the task". :-)
This is, indeed, a Valentine message - the kind long time lovers imagine lives in their partners heart, and know lives in their own! :-)
Very nicely done :-)

Leineco, thank you so very much for that insightful review :-) I appreciate your generous rating, too. Brooke

This is a beautiful message with a wonderful picture with Sawyer bringing it to life. (I learned something new, too. I always thought waiver was only spelled that one way for both meanings. Duh...!)
:-) Happy singing, Brooke.

This is a sweet, rhyming, free flowing poem, about love. The metaphor of relationship/duet, is meaningful for a valentine. The picture is cute as well. Good luck with the contest.

I love the beauty of the words and spirit inherent in this poem. The melodic meter and rhyme combined with a little enjambment create a smooth flowing piece that give wings to the thoughts imbued here. It does take two to create a lasting flow of love, a message brought forth very clear here. And the wonderful photo just nails it down completely.

A wonderful Valentines Day celebration, of course for two. As always your rhyming never wavers, favors the bold, holds dear to hearts that are in sync. Good luck with the contest! Les
