a very heartwarming story for certain
and yes
the twist at the end makes for a wonderful read and imagination with openings and possibilities for continuance
for I thought it was going to be justin to leave when it was sarah
the wonderful continuance would be to expand on justin
thank you for sharing
it was a pleasure to read

I am still deciding how far to go with this. I would like to pursue it, but scripting is a totally different ball game. LOL. Thank you for the great review. Gretchen

Oh, that was so sweet. You really fooled me. I thought he was the spirit. How wonderful. I loved the descriptive images you gave for the sky and the figure shrouded in white.

Good stage directions
Effective dialogue that conveys well the intense emotions of both characters and shows their strong relationship well
A moving ending as Sarah realized she needs to move on to her eternal life, separated for a while from her loving husband

Gretchen,
The script is outstanding as is the story it tells. The dialogue is excellent, and the descriptive narrative is as well. I did not see the end coming until I got there.

There're definitely great feelings and emotions in this one; however, I was a little confused over Justin's mortality. I thought he was the one left behind and Sarah was going to the great beyond, but if she looks back at him, does that mean he's in the place way below? I didn't think that could be because if he was in "that" place, I don't think he'd be smiling. It's a very engaging piece. I'm sorry if I didn't exactly get it.

Sarah and the shrouded figure have gone on to the great beyond. I just leave the scene with Justin on the hillside looking towards heaven with a smile on his face. Thank you for the great review and sorry it wasn't clear to you. I will try to work on that. Gretchen

Hi GWHARGIS,
Your script is beautifully written and pulls the reader in right from the start. I really liked the line," Her fingers go through his image. Justin starts to fade, as does the hillside and the sky." This sums up your play so well.

I enjoyed this immensely. You have created a wonderful little scene, that is for sure.
I liked the interactions between the two characters, Sarah and Justin.
They felt believable, and along with great dialogue, the piece flowed wonderfully.
Great work. I did not find any mistakes. :)!

Oh, this is so sad - I know nothing about
scripts, but am glad I read it - well written
and your words painting the scene.
