I'm sure we all know someone who could have been turned into a gnome for this poem. I'd never, never take them home. Still, I'm sure you're right, we've all been 'had' at at some time or other. Thanks for the stars and the wonderful review.

I think you right about gnomes or other like creatures which don't belong close to us. Yours is an excellent story in rhyme rhythm meter and its message. Good luck in the contest.

LOL- WHAT a cute story in a poem! Perfectly written and the presentation (in color and accompanying picture) is lovely as well. Your imagination is outstanding! You verbally paint an adorable picture for the reader. This little gnome, found accidentally by being stepped on (lol) lying to the intruder, eating his pie and now taking up residence in his home-forever. :)Just LOVED it- I believe children will enjoy it as well.
