I want to give this Ollie dachshund a big hug.
He looked so suspicious and witty in the pic.
I am sure he had secrets to keep from the way he looked.
He is an 'oily' slippery one and you will never catch him in his mischievous acts cos he is smarter than us, LOL.
Nice shiny coat and if the mirror replied, "Thee is fairer than your owner between you and me!".
I bet Ollie never told anyone that - it's in his left eye, dear Jo. :-).
Cheerio, Ritchie.

Thank you Ritchie for reading my little ditty about my beloved friend Ollie. He is so special to me.

Yes, looks like pets understand us better when we are down and out. They will come to us with those knowing eye, whines a little and rub their bodies against us. Cute.

Nice poem! He is so cute. Good that you put the photo so you could get a clear picture of what you were saying. Would like to have heard more about what makes him really special to you besides the fact that he is adorable looking! Good job!

Thank you for the review.

Well, the picture did sort of give it away! But the ending would be a nice surprise otherwise. Nicely done as to the description that could fit a person, too. Cute.

Thank you Pollly for the nice review.

It's a cute poem about the little wiener dog. I guess the '...long tail?' question derives from our not knowing you're describing a dog. That device is a bit moot since we have a picture. Nice to spin Ollie up into verse though. Happy days.

It's good to have a loving pet. Ollie looks like just the ticket. Putting him in a nice poem is a special thing.
Thank you. Keep writing, writing, writing.

It's a funny piece and highly creative, however, the last line doesn't flow as well as the rest. Not sure how to fix that though. After all, it is your poem and i shouldn't mess with it in the first place!
