Another great humorous poem..with clear images. A new twist on an old story of Goldilocks and the Three
Bears, by having the bears eat her for dinner lol..
Congratulations on winning the contest, very much deserved.
Kind regards to you..Dee

Steve, Congratulations on your contest win
a solid acrostic for Goldilocks and the Three Bears
excellent use of rhyming couplets
and great cadence when read aloud
nice touches of alliteration like fine fare
Excellent humor in your retelling of this old story - love the little commentary like Oh crap when she breaks the chair LOL
fairy story bruins/ruins - that passage is inspired :-)
poor sleeping sinner - she paid dearly for her trespasses I see. LOL Great gallows humor ending :-) Brooke

This is a very nice work. If I have your permission i would like to send it to my grandaughter, age 8, I know she will have a kick of it. A very well deserved win.

Thank you - of course you can share it - I did think of adding an alternative ending in case anyone didn't want poor Goldy to get eaten, but I reckon most kids will lap it up.

This is a cute poem...good luck in the contest
Become quite cross if someone ruins
Everything they planned to eat
And Baby's darling little seat.
Regrettably the sleeping sinner
Served the bears for early dinner!

Priceless! It is no wonder that you have all of those awards tagged to the bottom of this brilliant acrostic! This poem has it all: rhyme, cadence, and a little alliteration.
Absolutely wonderful! Congratulations!

A fine illustration of an acrostic the site should use on its front page; my friend, congratulations! The best I have ever read on site, a delightful poem/story in flowing verses that are quite pleasing to read again and again; that clever ending makes this brilliant write a memorable one; again, congratulations and thanks for the treat.

Thank you, Kamran.
Be careful with those words of praise, my friend, my head may swell and then my hat won't fit!
