Okay, I love the list and agree so wholeheartedly that I just had to give this a six star review. I have so many favorite lines in this happy poem that it would take me a very long time to list them so let's just say I like the whole thing and thank you for this bright and warmhearted sharing. Blessiings, Elly

I hope it was a lovely birthday! Best wishes to you on your special day. (I'm 65) A fine life lesson you offer here, I had never rolled some of the ideas around in my head, but I liked them all! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Bina for your fine review. Yes, I got the idea a few years back when I turned 60 of writing a new life lesson learned for every year of my life. I also wrote a mission statement. It helps me to put things into prespecitve as I "age." :o)

This was really great advice, my friend. And it could only come with the wisdom of being really, really old. :D Based on your tone of voice, I'd say you're still in your mid-twenties.

My favorite one was this:
20. Something learned is never wasted.

Again, great work. (And I don't believe you'll ever be old.)

Thank you for sharing your heart with Fan Story. Wow! this is excellent, positive and uplifting to me, almost 50, and feel very old some days, but after reading this I am totally encouraged about what the most important things in life are. Our experiences, good or bad make us who we are today:) I would not change one line. Great job! no matter how many times I fall, it doesn't matter as long as I get up and keep trying:) Happy Birthday!!
