This chapter is worth ten stars! Your knowledge of First Nation culture is amazing. I love the way you've used the language and the proper address to Jana's Elder as she walked in the house. The spirit passing through the house is so well written. I felt that I was a part of every step of the chapter, from the ride home to the time in the house. This is an excellent book! I see that it is up for book of the month. I wish you the very best. You sure deserve the win!

Hey, Bev, so sorry I have not been around for awhile. I have been busy with work, so fan story has been off limits. But I had a minute to spare and wanted to catch up. I see my absence has not dulled your talent. The story is twisted up quite nicely the bad guy is still very well done and Jana's uncle brings a nice supernatural spin to the tale. Again I found your writing to be professional on every level a very nice bit of work here.

This is getting so twisted, Bev. I'm sorry I didn't review when you first posted, but I've been spreading my attention around this summer to lots of fun pursuits! And then I come back to read this and this guy's just getting whacked freaky!
Did I ever tell you I know a real serial killer? Not something to brag about, I should say I met him multiple times and was acquainted with him. He was always polite to me, thankfully.
Back to your story, sorry, my mind drifted off to that man for a moment. Your guy is way creepy. He definitely thinks he's performing noble acts.
I think killer's like him, in their minds, are doing very right things.
Ooh, the scene with Jana's uncle was good. I liked the supernatural thing happening with him. I'm not Indian, but I think my .... whatever you call it, is a little more sensitive to the supernatural than some. Fortunately, the good, not the awful scary kind!
I'm really wandering around with this review. It's my long winded way of saying I enjoyed this chapter very much!

Well, this was very well written, my friend, and fully compelling all the way through.
Fantastic flights of description and wonderful, believable dialogue throughout, and a strong, suspenseful work of pacing made this chapter a good, fun read, even out of context. Stands plenty well on its own. Well done. Good luck with the rest of this story. Thanks too for putting it up at the top of the listings where it was easy to stumble across, a pleasant surprise to top off a night of mostly lackluster reviewing.

Dramatic and intense chapter. I moved into the story immediately. Settings were solid in description and easily accessible by the reader. characters are excellent. The points of view had excellent transitions. the story very iteresting in every detail.
