I guess you think I'm crazy for just reviewing this, but I've been away from this site for over a year myself. I'm just coming back. I'm a ovarian cancer survivor. I also suffered a stroke and have had three surgeries. One surgery was botched and now I'm seeing a lawyer. But GOD IS GOOD and He's worthy to be worshiped. Oh I'm sorry to go on about myself. I just could not go to be without reviewing this story you've told and very well. God bless you. And Be Healed in Jesus' name.

Hi Barbara...Thank you for this detailed sharing of your life...I'm sorry I haven't kept up with you...I am leaving soon and would like to copy off one of your books to read, with your permission of course. I am thrilled that you are doing better and some of your problems I have as well. I get so scared. So aggravated. Please know, as I'm sure you do, that you're not alone. I have RA and it's really pulling me down. No cancer that they can find right now, tho there's a lump in my right arm. Odd. I also thank you for all your kind and most encouraging reviews. I have been honored each time to have your support and fun notes. I'll be here until the middle of January, and will share my email if you want. Love and light, Susan

It sounds pretty gruesome, but I bet no matter how bad it gets, it's good to still be alive. Sometimes, all one can do is live with it.

Great essay!

It was your title that drew me to this wonderfully written piece. Recently, two members of my family were diagnosed with cancer and it was a terrible shock. You show a lot of courage with your positive attitude.

Get well soon

I have seen many people go through cancer treatments. Your essay is a very honest and detailed journey of what happens and the feelings that a patient goes through. Very well written.

Thank you for putting it all out there. That takes not only courage but grace. You've also shown that the treatments are not necessarily easy and have put down the facts from radiation burns to peripheral neuropathy. Still you brave women go through this. You are to be honored.

Wow!! I just finished chemo. I am getting ready to start radiation. You are an inspiration to me. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October. God bless you. Enjoy life to the fullest. Take care. Deorre

You are in my prayers. I had a harder time with radiation than I did with chemo. I have extremely sensitive skin and am allergic to many things.

Thanks for the update, Barbara. A life altering experience no doubt, but I'm very glad that for the most part all is well. It's sad that most of your life-long symptoms are from treatment, not the disease.
Your wonderful attitude is encouraging.

Maureen said "Live, Love and Laugh". She's an authority in this and it is so very true. I think your account is so important to help others who are going though this ordeal. You've crossed that line already and will never ever go through such pain again. Rest assured life will be much better after all this. If, I believe, and only if, you're able to see what you have been granted. I believe you were prepared beforehand to go through this. Do you believe that? Whatever happened before might have given you what it takes to survive such hell. I wish you full recovery faster than you expect. Life gains a new perspective after that and I guess a much better one. Welcome to a new birth. It's time to be free.

I agree. While I was having a pitty party, I asked, why me? My answer was why not you? I realized then that I was supposed to go through this and it was a learning experience. Thank you for your kind review and insight.
