Oh crap, how much more can this woman take. Coma and now emergency surgery on top of the beating and all the emotional terrorism. If not for her own, the for Michael I sincerely hope there is a happy ending.

this is a very descriptive writing and very tough story you have achieved. Great chapter but so sad. You put in vry good imagery when you write.
Excellent description of the horrific injuries sustained by Anna at the hands of ther brutal husband. Good dialogue that shows effectively how uspet is Troy. Well done!

This is a very dramatic point in your story and one can see that it has a lot more to give.I can understand why abuse should be totally wiped out.And I can not understand any man or woman who has to resort to violence for violence sake.I think the next stage of the story is one to look forward to.

Well, it sound like I misses some very exciting parts.
This post is very easy to follow and presents the concern of a family for Anna. The medical information sounds very realistic as does the doctor's behavior. The buzzing pager added to the reality.
