Very beautiful poem and remembrance of our Lord and what He did for mankind. I love the photo art also and thought it was very appropriate.

It was so nice coming across your message of Hope and Faith on this Good Friday. How often in our busy modern world do we now forget the sorrow and the sacrifice of Jesus. This poem is well worthy of a six. The second for you today that I cannot give because I am blocked from doing so. Have a Blessed Easter. Rose.

How wonderfully talented you are and
I for one am so happy that you are

This is avery truthful and profound piece. It provokes the emotions as the reader considers the death and resurrection of Christ. Great word selection and formation here.Good job!

Wow! This is so true and well written. The Cinquain is a tough poem to write and you did a fantastic job! We are called to bear witness, really speaks to me. Awesome work on this beautiful poem. All the best to you.

Perfection in so few words: I can write 15 stanzas and not say as much as you can say in 15 worlds! Hoping 2 get better--not 2 optomistic right now--feel 2 tired 4 life. This too shall pass.. later and God bless, shy

Shy, thank you so very much for your most thoughtful review - I am a regular chatterbox in real life so I like being able to express myself in fewer words in poetry :-) Brooke

Before the foundations
of the world
it was decided
Jesus would be the One
to be rejected by His own
though He did nothing wrong
The One to bear the shame
and the pain of the cross
The One to utterly defeat death
on the Third Day and He lives
Forevermore
Very well done, Buck

This form of poetry seems to mean it is especially important to make word choices count for everything that they're worth. You did an awesome job with that, as always... thanks for sharing.

What a simple and thoughtful Good Friday verse, Brooke.
Love these lines:
we're called to bear witness that first
came death.
You really caused me to stop and thin here. In the life of Christ, like the life of our soul ... death often in the door ...death to ego ... anger ... greed.
Wonderful. Hugs, d
