This story is amazingly written, and for once, I've found an author who wrote about something just as amazing. I had chills by the end as the dialogue ended. I was not expecting that, therefore, here are five stars of your worthy writings that I was honoured enough to read.

Thanks Indy. I think it's the start of a book that I'm going to write, using the paranormal investigators. I just had a really neat real-life personal session with some amazing stuff caught on tape in the home of family with poltergeist activity involving young children (the worst). Been doing psychic work for about ten years now; and, finally have a way to integrate it into my writing. I'm so glad you liked the story my friend. Very well written story about a ghost who may or may not realize that she is one. The contest rules seem to indicate that the story is to be in the first-person POV. It was well detailed, high caliber writing though. Blessings, Hector

Hi Hector. Someone else suggested that too. I thought I was meeting the requirements when referring to the ghost. May have to pull it. I'm waiting to see what the other writers are doing.

I've asked Tom to remove it from the contest and just have it as a regular entry. I'm pretty happy with the piece as it is. Supposedly, he's taken care of it. Thanks Hector.

We tend to think we are imaging things. Personal note: I'm mailing out your photo today...if you would drop me a note when you receive it, I'd appreciate that. Thanks for the picture. In regarding writing the paranormal story - actually I could write a number of short stories. A house I used to live in years ago was definitely haunted and my whole family had some "unique" experiences while we lived there.

Hi Tellis. I really appreciate your wonderful review. There are several versions I enjoy watching. I have to tell you, I've done 'ghost hunting' for some years now but without much equipment-mostly just to help souls cross over. But, yesterday, I went to a home that has a nasty persisent ghost with my new EVP maching. We caught some astounding stuff in the EVP's from the session. I see why the guys get so ramped up on TV! I was very polite, no provoking (hate that) and still got some very good proof. Anyway, thanks again for your very encouraging review. Warm regards.

If you look up a place called Belgrave Hall on You Tube, you'll find a ghost watch by an American team who investigates hauntings - I think it's a regular show. They were in for a shock. I can see Belgrave Hall from my home!

I do recall watching Ghost Hunters International's investigation of Belgrave Hall. Have you ever gone to the Hall to invstigate? Ironically, yesterday I was re-investigating a home in my town that has a persistent malevolent spirit. This time I took a rather inexpensive EVP machine that I had just purchased. We got some chilling stuff and it was in broad daylight! It's one thing to hear voices in your own head, but another to get actual, physical proof. Anyway, thanks for your support and good wishes buddy. Means a lot.

Belgrave Hall and its beautiful (but haunted) gardens are open to the public so I often pop in - but no ghost for me yet. I owned a house in South Africa that had a spook that only operated in the dark. Opening and closing the shower door - pulling pictures off the wall - rattling objects in the bedroom. Everything stopped when you put the lights on. I got so mad I yelled at it with every Anglo-Saxon swear word I knew. It left for good!! xx

Now that's an interesting approach I haven't tried! What a fascinating story Ron. Whoever, or whatever it was, seems to have been rather a coward when it really came down to it. I think these happenings make great stories, very obviously on your part. Hugs, Bev
