Hello there~
Sorry to hear about your husband. But anyway, this is a really sweet and wonderful poem. I've read so many Father's Day poems from children to their dads, this is the first where a wife wishes her husband. Great Job. God Bless~!

Beautiful Miss Cookie.
I miss my fisherman right now as that is what he's doing on the Mississippi River and I'm home. He'll be coming home on Father's day. Great memories thank you for sharing.

This is a nice tribute, since you are appreciating what was, what is, and how it is now. You can still feel his presence. It can be like that with someone who you were once close to. I like how you say you can still hear music in a room that is silent now.

Very nice Cookie ( oh yes it's Fathers day this coming Sunday
Your picture of a man fishing is so appropriate for your Father's day poem
So I take it your man was a fisherman

Great image that complements your father's day poem ever so well. I did not realise it was fathers day. But of course you should remember your deceased husband.

Hi misscookie :) This is so simply beautiful. I love that the sweet will always play and that your memories of your 'fisherman' bring you so much happiness. I love the photo too. Thank you for sharing this...
Kindest regards, Debra :)

AW, that brought tears to my eyes, Cookie. What a touching poem for your deceased husband. The memories of your dancing, well you just have me in a puddle right now. Such love and tenderness. Thank you so much for sharing, my friend.

Hugs, Bev

My condolences to you miss cookie. I too lost a loved one 15 years ago. As to the piece, I delighted in the love that shone through every verse. Father's day for many will be a time of reflection and the enjoyment of memories spent together. Is the pic of your husband?

Regards:
