This work has reached the exceptional level

What a wonderful Mother's Day poem, Jude. She lives on in her daughter, in more ways than one. It's reflected in the mirror as you see her through your eyes, and lives in those beautiful gardens you shared, and in which grew the best and bightest memories. In the garden of life, you were her special flower she so carefully nurtured until it was time to set you free. She was such a huge part of your life as she helped shape your character while carrying all those lovely shining stars in her pockets.

You do a marvelous job of bringing the reader along on this journey you and your mother shared.

Outstanding poem and deserves a 'sixer' in my book.

Thanks for the notes. We both had very special relationships with our mothers. Mine died 10/04/04.
Mother's Day always brings back a flood of memories.

My mom passed away as well, but you know what, I often believe she is there pulling strings for me in heaven. With my mother's situation, she was trapped her for eighteen years, but after her passing, I honestly felt that she was happy to be freed.

You very well written poem, exemplifies the effect that our mothers have on us. I love the last stanza to this! It also brought back my memories of mom giving me a portion of the garden. But I felt it best to raise vegetables.- Great job with this one!

Excellent poem for your Mom, Jude. My Mom was 73 when she died in 2005 and people are telling me I look, act, and laugh just like my Mom...like I didn't know that? LOL I enjoyed your Mother's Day tribute.
