I just read this page and will try to read a couple of pages tomorrow. I have experienced a lot in my life and I don't think I will be offended by any of your book.
Sasha, have you hear my life story done as a radio drama?

This is a nice chronological biography.
Some grown ups are not aware that children can retain things, and especially if it is traumatic.

What one retain can make a story so others can learn or enjoy what a person experience in life.

I am sure you have lots more to tell, good luck.

I have just finished editing this and some of the changes are not on the FS copy. The changes are minor and not necessarily that obvious. Hope you read more. It really is quite a story.

Sounds like its off to a great start so far. It has an enlightening beginning which is much needed for an autobiography. Love the dedication.

Oh did you changed your name? I'd love to change mine. This is a very good prologue, particularly the bold letters:
dedicate this book to my mother who earned my forgiveness, my sisters who are still in denial, and my daughters who never knew the whole story...
It really motivates the reader to go on reading.

Yes, I legally changed my name in 2003 from Valerie Jean Murphy to Aleksandra Sasha Natalya Petrova. Thanks, I wanted the Prologue to do exactly what you said, make the reader want to read more.

I think I read parts of the original and I liked reading it then. I will put you down on my Fan list so I will be able to reread the parts I missed before. This is wonderful way to begin.

Yes, this was posted two years ago and they have a new pump that you can use to re post work posted over two years ago. The pump is good on all chapters for a limited time. I think this one has about 5 or 6 days left on it.

I tried the new pump and changed some things, but the piece was originally for a contest. I got reviews docking me points and saying I didn't follow the rules for the contest.

Next time, I'll put an explaination in my notes at the bottom.

It seems you cannot please everyone. I liked it the way it was.

I'm not sure I understand what I'm reviewing at this point. I haven't actually found any part of the book or story. So far, only explanations, poem, & prologue. Well, so far, I am definitely interested in seeing where this goes. But I don't know if I missed anything before going on to "The Big Red Rooster" . . .

This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

This is a new way FS is allowing authors to promote their previously posted work. This has been posted (the entire book) two years ago and it also won the seal of approval. For the next week, each chapter reviewed will give both points and cents to the reviewer. You simply go on to the next chapter after review each one. Hope that all makes sense.

Five stars today for the poem here. I realize they are not yours, but you can pass them along to Brooke when you see her. Celebrate the dandelion, indeed. This is good news for a lot of us dandelions; weeds that keep on keeping on.

From what I read, the poem and the Prologue, this was written well. I love the poem by Brooke Baldwin. The poem captures perfectly what Dandelions does. I liked the line,"friends of children, foes of men. Looking forward to reading the book.

I was approached by Sony in 1993 for a made for TV movie but the story of Tanya Harding and the girl she had beat up won out over me.

I have my life story done, Behind Closed Doors, on Amazon.com. So far for the site I have just been doing short stories. My thinking if I post the book in its entirety then no one will buy the book???? Maybe I should post it as a novel but then it so hard to read enough reviews to keep things going, my old eyes just aren't what they used to be. To go for a seal of approval do I have to post the whole book? Or will they accept one chapter for consideration? I do thank you for your help. God loves you and I do too. So where do I go to get to each chapter to review? I'm pretty new at this and it's not hard for me to get confused.

This is a very strong way to start off a book.
It catches the reader's attention without much rigmarole.
I like the poem about the dandelion and its resilience. well done
