Wow, Jan, what an amazing story, and you told it so beautifully! I don't have six stars to give you, I regret to say, but this is more than worthy - your narrative voice is excellent, well, I'm just not even going to go on about how great the dialogue, pacing, etc. are because this is a true story. You know it is wonderful, I'm sure, and your skill is undeniable.

Aw, thank you! :-) I'm glad you enjoyed reading it. It was an awesome experience, and I would love to repeat it, but it seems these things only happen when we're least expecting them and certainly not at our whim. :-)
Your kind words are deeply appreciated. That you thought it worthy of six stars is good enough for me.

Hi Jan,
I thought I had reviewed this one but I guess I read it and didn't have time to comment.
I find this the most wonderful encounter and am envious of your "visit" with your mom. How special!
This is proof, God meets us where we are isn't it?
When He took me home, the first thing I saw was the Crystal Sea. I LOVE WATER!
This story is so wonderful.I hope one day to see your work in print. Is it?
Thank you for using my photo in your story. It blesses me to see it here.

Jewell, it is an honor to use your artwork with my writing. It is so true, God does meet us where we are at. I love the ocean, too. The Crystal Sea - how I would love to see it.
My work is in print on-line in several e-zines, and I've had a short story published in the Australian Nurses Journal, and a poem in the newspaper. Does that count? :-)
Hugs and love,
Jani

I can imagine your mother would still be painting in heaven, your writing gives hope and makes one feel good inside. A sense of peace is what we all strive for on this earth.

Lovely story! The language is beautiful! But I think you spoil it a bit for many readers (including me) when you write in the second last paragraph: "The Bible talks of a peace..." Why not: "There is a peace that passes understanding." It doesn't matter whether the Bible said it or whoever else.

Thank you for the review! I'm sorry you felt that way about the second last paragraph. I'm not ashamed to say where I read it. Guess that reminds me of where she is.
But I do appreciate your comments.

The word to use here is "Awesome" and very special indeed. I can't find any errors only beauty and love and happiness within very creative words written here. Wow! what an experience, apparently situations like this can happen.
Their have been apparitions with "Mary The Mother Of Jesus"
appearing early this century in the early 1900's, to three children."Our Lady Of Fatima".
Their are many others. We all think of our loved ones that pass over to God and we think of them so often. We dream in our sleep and goodness knows if I go anywhere,I don't know.
I send love out to my loved ones at bedtime and mornings.
I love your words and I can imagine how you feel.
God Bless You and wonderful words to read.
I would love to give six here. I don't think I have any.
I loved every word written here.
Honeytree.

Thank you so much, Carolyn. I am so thrilled to receive this wonderful review from you. By the way, your new biography photo reminds me so much of my mum, I had to look twice to be sure I wasn't seeing double! :-)
Hugs and love,
