Copy/Paste in Forum

Thread Started October 29 at 1:56PM

When you reply to a post in the Forum, the site just gives you a blank box to type in. You immediately lose sight of the particular post you are replying to. In order to make intelligent and sensible comments it has always been useful to copy and paste the original so you can refer to it as you write.

Now, for some unestablished reason, the site has disabled the ability to copy, so you are writing in the dark. Anyone else find this a royal pain in the butt?

I know I could open a new browser tab and then start a second session of FS and navigate my way to the original post and then switch to and fro between tabs 0 that's always a ton of fun.

Tom, please give us back our 'copy' facility, or better yet, give us the ability to see previous posts in the thread so we know what we are replying to!

I was going to copy and paste this in a message to Tom, but guess what.... I can't!

I just copied from your post. The copy feature works, but it doesn't highlight the text. I agree it's annoying.

Yep, I discovered the secret almost immediately I started this thread.

Why on earth would the change that to make it more difficult to use?

A book by our own Alec Gould.

One man's take on life told thru humorous short stories from his childhood on into his mid-50's; from feeling like an outcast in school to being an adult. His intent: hope. Hope in that you shall see, no matter how rough life can seem -and is- at times, that you may be able to enjoy it. Each story will bring a laugh, a smile, a tear, a lesson.

The 23rd Annual Book Awards said:
"We Really Need To Laugh" shares “memories which will resonate with many readers. Overall a creative presentation of the author’s life given in a rather sing-song poetic story telling style; a pleasant read"
