They are wonderful creatures stalked by warm blooded man. How very cold blooded? Wink... They nest in ambient waters, and very few of their young survive. Strong predators, but the only LYING they do is basking in the warm sun.

No pretense whatsoever. In fact, it might save ones life to have a healthy respect for their territory, for they WILL eat you alive without mercy.,Most do but others are quite foolish.

Both (fresh)alligator and (salt)crocodile..their nesting waters, swamp, are the gift of the earth?s rivers and streams, a magnificent filtration and nourishing system.

Now what about these crocodile cronies?

Blind-trust Trump supporters are a testimony to a dangerous, silent (near) majority that still persists in America, who pine for the 'good' ole days.

Anyone that can't see that this president's regime/rule, so far, is a farcical, potentially scary disaster is observing American political life from an alternate reality.
Even Trump's inner caucus are getting weary of, and challenging, him.

It's funny--in a tense kind of way.

DJ, you say you put your trust in a document that hasn't changed for 2000 to 4000 years...

Now I can only think you must be referring to the Bible, but if that's the case you are seriously misguided on your time frame. At least half of the Bible wasn't even written 2000 years ago. Jesus hadn't even been crucified 2000 years ago.

Add to that that the Book you are referring to has been translated, edited, updated and had various new versions created over the years. The Old testament has been translated through various languages before reaching an accepted English version.

I have no intention of mocking your faith in the Bible, but it seems to me that if biblical scholars can still quarrel over the literal meaning of many passages that the thing can be seen as a guideline only rather than a rock-steady scripture to believe in.

As a student of English I aware of how much meanings of many common words have changed, even in the 400 or so years since the King James version was published. As a humorous example, I have recently seen an interpretation of the biblical passage which says something like "If a man lies with another man, he should be stoned..." The suggestion was that the bible was predicting both the legalisation of gay marriage and the legalisation of marijuana!

Or...if a man 'lies' (tells a lie in conjunction) with another man (then) 'he' (only this second supporting, reinforcing liar--not the original fibber) should be stoned (pelted with rocks to a state of stupor--or death--depending on the prevailing fancy of the participant crowd).
Just my divinely inspired interpretation.
