Dis, that is funny.

So a few Sunday's back, I was at one of my son's house and we were having a big get together for a barbecue.

Earlier that morning, my grandchildren and their Moms had gone to church.

Upon returning, the children went into the backyard to play while we were cooking. It was not very long until my ten year old granddaughter, Amy, came running through the kitchen sobbing. She went into her Dad's room and slammed the door. I must preface this by saying Amy is very dramatic... the artist in her I suppose. You could hear her sobs across the universe.

My daughter, her aunt, and I could not imagine why she was so distraught, so we went to the room. Amy was under the covers clearly upset.

I gently inquire, "Amy, honey, what is wrong?"

She flipped the covers back, sat up in the bed, began wiping tears and snot on her arms and said " Say good bye to me now! I am going away for a very long time!"

"Well where are you planning on going?"

"To jail. I am going to jail>"" sob

"You are, are you? Why?"

"Well you know this morning at church, when--- when they were passing around the offering plate..sob sob... well a dime fell on the floor and I picked it up and put it in my pocket."

"Oh I see, you took something not yours, but why do you think you are going to jail?"

"Because John(her brother) and Sarah (her cousin) had said so! But Glimmer, it gets worse."

"What do you mean Amy?"

"Because I stole from God's house, I am going without my iPad and they are going to put a big picture of President Trump on the wall!"

"Well okay Amy, you took something not belonging to you, but you are not going to jail. Just return it and never do that again, okay?"

It took everything in my power not to laugh, but I had too. Yep, my concern is that she will have to drink fluoridated water!! How do I tell her that.. lol..kids are hysterical.

Sexual harassment, collusion with a foreign power, tax evasion, money laundering, perjury, obstruction of justice, hacking, fraud, bribery, slander, libel, violation of campaign finance, ethics and antitrust laws are rife in the current American administration. BUT, instead of all that criminality what concerns the president of the USA is dirty party politics as usual shenanigans in the primaries from almost two years ago.

Hot Dayem!! It's clear President Hillary is unhinged!! We should impeach her.

"we"...should impeach em all.
"you"...should stop the apartheid in your own Country
"I" swear if you spent half as much energy as "you" do
on segregation here...you'd have every handi-capper in
in a hundred thousand miles of brokenhearted left out
clappin' and salutin' your anthem. think about it, "they" can really use a genius freedom fighter tight about now. ...-lightbulb-

Genius does not equate leadership, whatsoever.
Knowledge, compassion, trustworthiness, influence, respect, intuition, empowerment, sacrifice, ability to connect, serving others, gift of priorities( meaning leaders understand that activity is not necessarily accomplishment)
Leader also understand the law of buy in, meaning those who follow will buy into the leader then the vision.
Leaders work toward the good of all.
Leaders also understand the law of navigation. Anyone can steer a ship , it takes a leader to chart the course.

Trump is none of these. As far as genius goes, to me, very questionable. As far as genius goes, it only means ones ability to absorb, extracate, assimilate, and assess information from most if not all of the seven intelligences on a higher than normal level. Ability does not mean this gift has been utilized.

On a personal level I have known at least two geniuses and neither one had the ability nor gift to lead. Both great people who never realized their potential and how through gaining the right kind of knowledge could have done so much more.

Recon,

You've learned well from your leader, bring up another subject when you don't want to hear about the problems we have here...Do you think for a moment, that Kelly would have spoken about representative Wilson if she had been white, calling her an empty basket", be honest, and not feeling the need to even apologize when it was clear he was in error...you must know that trump's hates Obama because he's black...what about the comment Kelly made only this week, about slavery...This is a country divided by race, status, and class...give me a fricken break, it a fact...it true recon, or do you really live in your own world...I could go on and on, but its not a subject that many want to hear.

You and people like you are part of the reason we are in the place we are...trump wants immigration laws strengthened, you do to, he thinks Muslims are rapists, and drug people, so do you, Mexicans to you are simply taking away American jobs, that's what you believe...and then when you want to prove a point you do something that I find deplorable you bring in the name of God.

I read your posts carefully because I once had a different idea of who you were, not that I'm important to anyone, but I think I've been wrong.

Just Some Thoughts!

my Leader is the Word of God.
I follow haphazardly and wait on Him impatiently these days. my faith in His Truth and understanding of said war continuously....but I know the Truth when I feel it.

Woman...you know not my heart.
nor will I allow you to speak for it...
you...and others here have and do judge harshly, thoughts and feelings other than your own. too the point of de-humanizing anyone who disagrees with your positions.

and your positions....
like Hillary Clinton and President Trump are continuously proven mistaken... trust and outright sabotage to discredit.
myself...I have voiced my beliefs and feelings for what you accuse me of again...too many times now for you to not comprehend... my position. I'll not honor your insult with response you'll only again ignore. have an okay day-

Recon, think what you want about me, but in my mind I know people like you...and I refuse to get into a discussion about God here, as we also have a difference of opinion about what being a Christian really means.

Just Some Thoughts!

And lo, the woman said unto the man, 'I hate you!' And the man said, 'Aww, don't be like that.' But the woman persisted. 'I hate you even more!' And he said unto her, 'Verily, verily, I will buy thee a diamond.' And that very day he did. And she repented and forgave him. And they lived in harmonious peace--for two years, after which the zirconia began to fade ....

Hurry, recon; Zales is open 'til late this season. :-))
