I wish I could give you the brightest star  I wish I could hold you now where you are I wish I could give you all of your dreams  I wish that it wasn’t as hard as it seems I wish you could feel deep down in your heart  That I am the same friend I’ve been from the start I’m sure you know that the time we share Could be ending tomorrow by death so unfair Make no mistake about love’s true worth Pain never misses one person on earth  There’s only one thing I’ve come to show It’s to share what I can before you must go A time may come when you need a real friend One who can help this heart of yours mend And I’m hoping that you’ll always know How warm my arms are when cold winds blow   Recognized Author Notes Painting: Marveve by Panda Capuccino
