Renewed strength comes to light
Beauty Comes In Many Forms

Beauty comes in many forms
Like the walk in fields forlorn
Distant trees bring hope of shelter
While bushes cling to weary legs
Slowly the dream of a drink rises
As the sun makes a merciless climb
Soon the trees will bring delight
For a rest during a long night
Years pass from the walk
With dreams of water falls
Seeking beauty in the field
Comes the reality of fuller years
Legs now worn from arthritic joints
Feel the beauty is too far from sight
Trees not far give forth renewed spirit
Soon the strides will come with renewed life

This May 9th I will be undergoing a hip replacement. Renewed hope for the muse to return with poetry.
