I always am out when I should be in
I'm wearing a frown instead of a grin
The wings of the forest carry the weight
Of colorful leaves since winter is late
The leaves speak with tongues that tell us of cold,
While other great tales of winter are told
The chilly fall leaves, now starting to molt
Are set to foment a wintry revolt
On streaking glass windows, rivulets flow
I watch as the rain converts into snow
There soon is some frost on glass window panes
Snow blankets the leaves of autumn's remains
The seasons are fickle, hard to define
For me, they are all just moods in my mind

Author Notes
The seasons affect us. We come to long for Spring through Winterâ??s hard days. Climate is wreaking havoc on
the seasons with high temperatures in winter. The real reason for the nâ??easters is due to the Arctic blast. It is quite common now. Cold air from the North Pole flows down. The reason that the frequency of this is increasing is that the Polar ice has melted a lot creating a pathway for the winds that used to be blocked by icebergs. It is almost April and we are being hammered by blizzards.
