A planet of crystal, I'm trying to make
And, soon, I will launch it far into space
It's four sliding doors all on one level
Are made out of steel, an alloy of metal
I've always thought that alien races
Would come here someday, live in its spaces
So one day I woke from my dying bed
And looked at the shell surrounded by lead
Inside the vacuum, was nothing but rust
The air was so swelled with yesterday's dust
I was alive then, full of emotion
I could do all things given the notion
I soon discover in one of the rooms
A long lost vase with fresh flower blooms
The room starts to fill with all my old dreams
They sing to me now; they're happy it seems
My planet's complete and just as designed;
The soul that's inside this body of mine

Author Notes
We all need to tend to our inner planet. Crystal shatters easily and is made out of lead.
Thank you for reading my poem
