Faith lifts the blight of an endless night
and replaces what guilt stole.
It lays waste pain’s dominion
and sets your heart’s compass to hope.
Faith is the solid ground beneath murky waters.
Grace is attentive to a cry for mercy
and is bread for the hungry heart.
It builds anew the ruins of your life
and brings to an end the bitter day.
Grace does not care what face you wear.
Love creates a feast from the bread of anxious toil
And calms the weary soul.
It rocks you while you grieve
And makes straight the crooked road.
Love is stronger than your struggles.
