Hope is a new day dawning,
It tastes of morning dew
Its scent is of sleeping rosebuds
That bloom when the sky turns blue.
The sound of Hope is a bird's song
Sung at its morning aubade
The touch of Hope is like velvet
On a trembling hand soft laid.
Like rainbows after storm clouds
Hope shimmers in the air
Hope is a vision of Promise
To lighten the dark of Despair.
