Now if I could I would caress your face
With fingers light upon your silken skin.
Then hope we could engage in one embrace,
To free the frightened angel known as sin.
A beauty far beyond my boldest thought,
Above all common understanding - rare.
A model of perfection men have sought,
With alabaster marbled skin so fair.
Oh nameless, universal, wondrous thing;
A lady who will leave the beast to weep,
And tempt the throat of every bird to sing
How liberated beauty runs so deep.
O lady fair whose braided hair hangs long,
You are my living miracle in song.

Author Notes
I am here on Fanstory writing this sonnet for the beauty who is responsible for me being here writing this sonnet. I am honoring my wife who would always stay when most would and should have quickly run away. Sue you are my hero, lover, savior, confidant, and friend, but most of all my loving wife who leaves the beast to weep and tempts the birds to sing. I adore you Sue.
