When we are hurting and alone
we need someone to come along
that will take us by the hand
and show us how to be strong.
Giving a hand to the weak
is what Jesus would have us do
to make life better for them
so they'll be able to make it through.
So take the hand of a lonely one
giving them the courage they need
to go on in their life each day
staying right beside them indeed.
We never know when we'll be lonely
hurting, and needing to be strong
hoping beyond hope that someone
who'll be able to help us, comes along.
