Did you hear that?
My heart just shattered
My head just went splat
My soul is bruised and battered
I believed you'd stay forever
But now I see you no more
I feel life's chord is severed
My heart's always lonely and sore
Then one day anger and grief
Somehow begin to soften
As I cling to my belief
That I'll see you again
Now I can learn to cope
And start to gather hope
