When day slips into night
I sit down to write
Of thoughts that I fantasize
Places I see before my eyes
From across some far distant shore
A light flickers of times before
As shadows dance in ghostly grace
In soft caress of night's embrace
We crossed the steep ridge of time
Our love never wavering in the climb
The whispered words we said
Forever in my head
We make love through the night
'til the moon fades from sight
Your lips waiting to be kissed
In this place we exist
Each night I feel you near
Hear your whispers in my ear
My soul begins to soar
Like it has times before
The dark of night fades away
Ushering in a new day
Just beyond the horizon it seems
Lay all my nightly dreams
