Happy little goblins slide
While baby sprites do swing
And rise and fall pump ghostlettes on
That teeter-totter thing.
While tiny toddler witches
Try to entertain themselves
And play inside the box of sand
With kiddie warlock elves!
Now just like human parents
Every Mom and Daddy ghoul
Must go to work
Each Halloween
To scare, to fright, to fool!
So off to night-care in the park
Their little spooks abound
Where Dina-Dinosaur stands watch
To keep them safe and sound.
'Til dawn does break, when light does shine
All spirits disappear
But promise they’ll be back to play
On Halloween next year!
