The only place in which you can make amends,
For past wrong doing,
For past sins,
For lies and treachery,
For what you had to do - or CHOSE to do,
To pursue
Your Truths,
To survive,
At WHATEVER cost -
The ONLY place you can make amends for all of that,
Is in a place of Love and Compassion.
A place that exists in THIS moment,
Not a past one.
In a place where you feel safe to stand naked in the Light,
Without your sword, breastplate or shield.
In a place where you can shed your tears,
Let go your regrets,
Surrender your wish that it SHOULD have been different,
And accept that it couldn't.
Then step into THIS moment.
For 'THIS' is all there is -
Nothing more,
Nothing less.

As I went through therapy and faced the past that was haunting me, I slowly learned how to let it all go and LIVE in the present, in the moment, 'carpe diem'.!!!
