So she follows her heart that overflows
when his breath passes over her ear
Their love flourishes and grows stronger
through unsettled times of fear
In his homeland, on the other side
of the world, they've nested
They've become one with their name
for time had been tested
Happiness does not carry on for those
living not far from them
Death has been bestowed,
more than once in numbers, upon fellowmen
With searing flashes and shrapnel flying,
to a bloody knife, they fell
Excitement from a concert, lies silent
on the lips that will never tell
So joyful, yet sad to see the smiles
and glowing cheeks on these two lovers
Knowing that rivers of tears flow
for many loved one's senseless murders
What is the accomplishment for this
destructive and sickening human race
A call goes out with prayer for these lovers
to return to the land where they began, with haste
