A passing thought
The Stream of Consciousness by tfawcus

When life runs dry and feelings shrink,
there is a brook I know
with words of wisdom poets wrote,
in aeons long ago.

I dip my ladle in and drink
till filled with joy anew,
and with that draught I am refreshed,
as with the morning dew.

When in that shimmering stream I seek
to free my thoughts from woe,
I find that life is only drained
if I let it be so.
