I Guess I'll Be Gettin' More Mutin' by michaelcahill

The Donald's a holl'rin and hootin.

He's hot and he's bromancin' Putin.

Is love in the air? Yep, darn tootin'.

The Donald's a holl'rin and hootin;

the U.S. is there for the lootin--

with sweet talk there's no need for shootin'.

The Donald's a holl'rin and hootin' ...

he's hot and he's bromancin' Putin!

Author Notes

I took a little liberty with the meter. LOL
I'm still sick, so I have no idea what I wrote about. :))

***TOPIC***

Any subject that is close to your heart

Some examples to make one think of an idea:
a) The future of America (your own country/the world)
b) An event or condition in your life that upsets or pleases you
c) Anything you agree or disagree with, either political or religious
d) How you feel about the values of society today
e) A romantic dream about someone who doesn?t know how you feel about him/her

The Format to remind you again:

TRIOLET
A Triolet is a poetic form consisting of only 8 lines. Within a Triolet, the 1st, 4th, and 7th lines repeat, and the 2nd and 8th lines do as well. The rhyme scheme is simple: ABaAabAB, capital letters representing the repeated lines.

Make writing a Triolet more challenging! Make each line 8 syllables in length (4 metrical feet), written in iambic tetrameter (the more common way), or try it in pentameter (English version) where each line only has 10 syllables (5 metrical feet).
