scorned by a spurious lover
Mickey crumpled
falling to the floor cross legged
& cried
in silence he sat shaken
he moaned
he groaned
as he died bit by bit
he fell into the vortex
swirled swiftly to its point
only to awaken & rise
from the death of demise
which taunted & grasped at him
flayed & splayed his life before him
& as suddenly as Mickey cried to die
he awoke from the stupidity of it all
