With early rising pulls on anger
retrieved from lost corners drawing dust.
In an angst filled T,
depressed dungarees,
a coal and bleached brood of disgust
This vampire recoils in daylight,
squints daggers through fractured eyes.
While workers buzz in pursuits,
plods through lace-less boots,
on a chore most fervently despised.
Lethargically maneuvering the swarm,
yawning at the drones hurried gait.
Black shades, without favor
wades transit behavior
Never early, up sometimes this late.
Now scowling in a humming cluster
at automatons all in a file.
A fat man there
is halted with a stare
giving the seat to a woman with child.
The queen settles in with her larva.
The pupa looks up with a smile
With a tug and a glare
she tells him not to stare
avoiding eye contact all the while.
Excreted with the clutch at the towers,
slumping at a hive made of glass.
Vows with a grimace,
trudging on to the dentist,
an appointment this early 'tis the last.
