No force would bid me advance into such an unknown abyss as this. The hiss of terror tickles my ear like a devious gnat daring me to strike it. But my love is in peril. I can only imagine the depth to which I must plunge. I've heard ancient tales of yore ... lore from before a civilized man occurred, of warriors plunged to their knees, pleading for escape.
I am just ordinary. But she is extra and I must go in or she will surely drown. Even as my mind conjures creatures of ghastly ghoulishness, I enter the terror of a tear. I hope that caring makes a difference.
