As winds begin to howl outside
and sun behind dark clouds must hide
When first snowflakes come into view
I love being snowed in with you

Aromas from fresh apple pies
and oatmeal cookies make you rise
from comfy couch as if on cue
I love being snowed in with you

While grand kids fight to lick the bowls
and stuff their mouths with donut holes
your dog is chewing up your shoe
I love being snowed in with you

As days grow short and weather cold
And we begin to feel real old
These happy times we will review
I love being snowed in with you

Writing Prompt
A kyrielle is made of quatrains that rhyme. Each stanza (that is a quatrain) has a line that repeats, so a line from a previous stanza. That line usually (but does not necessarily have to) be the last line in the stanza.

Each line in the poem has eight syllables. There is no limit to the number of stanzas. Usually there are three or more stanzas.

Any type of rhyme scheme can be used.
