The Prisoner Within I am the "inner" me--a prisoner in the "outer" me. I am limber, graceful, and oh, how I love to dance. The outer me would dance, if she had someone to dance with. It would have to be slow dancing, but that's the best kind, anyway. The outer me needs knee replacement and finds stairs a bit of a challenge. I walk like Tim Conway in his "Old Man skit" after sitting at my desk too long. I don't much like this outer me. But as the saying goes, it's better than... Writing Prompt In 100 words, or less, write a short story--not necessarily a flash-fiction, though it could be--on the theme/subject/topic of 'prisoner'. It could be literal or metaphoric. Author Notes I reminisce, occasionally, about younger days, but I am AGING WITH ATTITUDE!
