yellow daffodils
show cheerful faces
rejoicing
in the miracle
of a new year
lilacs unfold
their fragrant blossoms
a floral scent
reproduced
ev’ry spring
songbirds return
to serenade
a chorus of joy
greets the seasonal
rebirth of life
a butterfly floats
on gentle warm breeze
carefree
children play
on a sunny day
