Once I was a writer, now a block of salt
Purest Heart by Walter L. Jones

My heart is haven
On a block of stone
Love is cubical
Pleasure of earth is gone

All the shadows lying in a field of stone
Growing my features
And here I stand to atone
For life has its vigor
Into the well I keep
Slow the shadows
Long the willow weeps

Mount me a silver stallion
Ride into the wonder bless
Given a proper burial
Arthur and queen are blessed

Sword of the mountain
From lake so pure
Cure of hell
Only Hercules lives here

Come all you marked lady's
Live a throne gone cold
Beauty and wisdom
Never more to old

Live in the mirror
Ages play quite well
Gods and devils
Populate heaven and hell

My heart is haven
On a block of stone
Love is cubical
Pleasure of earth is gone
