Good morning, Lord!
It's just me again wanting to talk to you.
I miss the times when I feel you are far away.
When you are closer, I, then know what to say.
You tell me that you are always close by.
I realize that now, Lord, as you never lie.
I feel your holy presence and I just smile.
Even on days I feel like its been awhile.
I tell you things that you already know about me.
You read my mind and that has taught me I am in You free!
I thank you for the goodness of your heart.
I pray, Dear Lord, that you never depart.
I sit here in awe of your amazing love and grace.
For all the trials I happen to go through and face.
You give me that inner strength to step forward and proceed.
I am so sorry that for me you had to die and bleed!
