minutes for the challenge
Waw, Huh!

When stranger turns into the foe
we hate him so
we never trust
his greed and lust.
His beady eyes fill us with dread
we want him dead
they're swarming ants
we'll take no chance
So stand up fast for home and wife
and take the life
of that swine who
is just like you.
OKAY, THAT'S MY ENTRY. THE FOLLOWING BURPED OUT AS I WAS TRYING TO WRITE.
I went to war when I was young
and full of dung
and rather quick
and pretty slick.
I always kicked back in the rear
no hero here
I knew no fear
but drank much beer.
The only time I risked my life
with sarge's wife
he stated facts
and I made tracks.

Author Notes
Edwin Starr sang WAR in 1969, the year I left the Navy, but the hit as I mustered out was Kenny Rogers RUBY. It kinda put a pall on the party,
so I went home to be a yarn boy at Chadbourn Hosiery
